I am not kidding, I got into a bonus round betting 2 dollars and after 42 spins I got. Almost impossible to get into a bonus round and when it finally did they didn't pay. So I went a couple of times in December and same as before, LOSE, LOSE, LOSE. They started missing me so they sent me a card saying I was upgraded to 'Hosted' status. I decided about 6 months ago that I would not go back to Choctaw in Durant. I used to go to Choctaw more often but the last year has been disastrous. Always meet some nice people and have a good time. Also noticed that beer prices went up $.25. I'm short and our server was short and we had a hard time reaching each other. The new Mason Jar Bar is very upscale, but I think the reaching distance from server to customer is way too wide. I will miss the Parrot Bar and the gift shop. We were really happy that on Sunday afternoon (while we were trying to recoup our losses) the South Casino opened at noon! I know it sounds silly, but we felt so lucky to be the first people to play some new slots. I ordered our pillows today! The South Casino had been closed for a while for renovation. I had to strip them down to find the tags and was pleasantly surprised that the company sells retail at a very affordable price. But how much space do you really need to sleep and shower? The pillows were incredible. We were greeted by friendly staff and the room was small but clean.
